History of this magnificent city:  Los Angeles

Books in history subject area may not be the high circulation area in library's non-fiction collection, but it should be part of the core collection of any library. Local history particularly should be on the library book shelf; say simply for the history sake.

Los Angeles may be modern city when compared with East Coast cities such as Boston or New York, but it does have her glorious history as well.
